The Story Behind Graceful Studies
Graceful Studies was created with a desire to have a place to share my faith and beliefs in God, and a place where people can also learn, study with me, and share the beauty of God’s word for our lives, one post at a time.
Graceful Studies is a Torah-centered faith blog. It is centered on the Hebrew Bible, the Tanakh (Old Testament). Here, I share Bible studies, looking at the Scriptures. Sometimes, this may include examining other beliefs and comparing them against what the Torah says. I also share Torah Living: what Scripture says, our daily lives, and how we can walk with God daily according to His ways. Additionally, I host a podcast where I share audio recordings along with a transcript.
I also wanted a place where people can learn more about the Torah, along with resources to use for daily learning. These will be added over time, as it is a big project of mine and takes time to create and add to Graceful Studies.
What I Believe
“I believe the Hebrew Bible is the foundation where all truth is established. It teaches us how to live for God and walk according to His ways. Because of this, any outside claim must be tested against the Torah and anything that adds to or takes away from it must be dismissed.“

Hi, I’m Theresa Joy
I am so glad you made your way over to this corner of the blog. If you are wondering who is behind Graceful Studies, that would be me! My love for God’s Word began long ago, and I am the type of person who loves nothing more than spending hours studying Scripture, researching history, and figuring out how to live out those beautiful truths in our modern world.
I don’t have all the answers, but I wanted to build a space where we can study and learn together. Whether you are brand new to the Written Torah or have been studying it for years, I hope you find something valuable here for your learning journey.
