Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well. It has been a while since I last posted, but tonight I wanted to share Psalm 51.
This chapter is near to my heart because it shows us how to find forgiveness for sins when there is no Temple. Yes! God forgives sins even when the Temple is not around. At the very end of the chapter, it says that when the walls of Jerusalem are built, then God will require animal sacrifices at His altar again. It is a beautiful example of how David sought God for the forgiveness of his sins through prayer and teshuvah (repentance) and how we can too.
So, if you are struggling with sin and want to return to God today, this is for you. You can listen and read the chapter below and pray Psalms 51 to God with a sincere heart of confession, regret for your past actions, and a true promise to turn away from those sins.
